Mathematical Foundations of Fluid Mechanics
MATH 6890

Basic equations of fluid dynamics, including the Navier-Stokes
equations and conservation laws, will be covered. Modern topics
including turbulence, wave-wave interactions, rotating-stratified
turbulence, and geophysical fluid motion will also be considered.
Prerequisites are advanced calculus and mathematical maturity.
