Exam and Final Rules: One index card ( 4x6 inches) of notes will be permitted for each test and final examination. No other material (books, notes, calculators, laptops, etc.) will be allowed.
Your score in this category will be the mean of the highest three test values. If you miss an exam or the final for any reason, you will receive a score of zero. Skipping an exam or the final is NOT recommended. Suggested Homework Problems from sections covered in lecture, are similar to the problems on the exams and final.
Recitation grade: A quiz will be given each week, and it will be based on the Suggested Homework Problems of the previous week. The lowest three quiz grades will be dropped in the evaluation of this part of your grade. Your TA may also assign homework and labs problems.
